This cropped version of my SWF # 3 is intended for Charles -my photography collegue, adviser, mentor, friend back in college. He found my orignal SWF to be distracting with that sand in the foreground hence I posted a cropped one.
How about that Charles? (wink!)
I miss to post my SWF last Friday due some hospital errands with my son, it's just a minor problem though.
Now I'm back with my 3rd SWF. Enjoy!
Update: The scene was taken at Purok Uno, Manticao, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
The two guys, after having their lunch just embark on to deeper water for a bountiful catch that day.
Here's my second entry, a little late due to some important errands.
This time I like my sky to be calm and peaceful, hope you'll like it. Have a fun weekend, everyone.
My first is dedicated to all SWF fanatics esp. to Rhoen, Arlene and Charles whom I got an inspiration to join this boat ride.
Taken at beach side just a hundred meters from our house. This is a lovely place, I often bring my toddler here for a walk while enjoying the breeze.

Notice the two curious little entourage in front.
I know I could have taken this at ISO800 with that enough stage light.
At f4, 1/50sec, ISO1600, photo straight from the camera.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Harris Clint Maghuyop
Taken at Road Haus Cafe, Valencia City, PH

This is Kient playing with his dog Frenzy. I was 25 paces away from them while capturing this in their natural moment.
I think I'm gonna keep this glass (70-200mm) which I sometimes considering of disposing it in exchange for a wider one (17-50mm)
Candid photographs are fun to try too. If you visit my flickr you will see different styles of photography combined together without specific type or form.
I wish I could master two or three types of photography but this limited equipment confused me which form would be the best destiny and to break this mixed mind up I would say I am going to shoot anythinggg. =)

Here's a Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens given by a friend, it's a good starter lens since I've been wanting a wider one than my current zoom that only gets 70mm minimum focal length.
Thanks to you, RHOEN!
Below is a sample shot, EF-S 18-55mm. Photo of my oldie PDA.

I bought myself the "Unseen World" issue of Imagphotography magazine. Going over through the pages I only found seven (whole page) adds- these adds are placed in the first few pages while the rest are tucked at the last pages, no adds in between each article, no centerfold.
Pretty cool, well arranged, systematic magazine, unlike other magazines that the adds are fixed anywhere the editor wants and bother the readers' attention.
The latest issue is packed with tutorial and good stuffs- made right for me who's trying hard to get good photographs.
My salute to the featured photographers of this issue Tilak Hettige and Edwin Tuyay their work of art was amazing. (click on their names to view their profiles and galleries)
Happy reading to those who have gotten the "Unseen World". Another new issue is coming up!

I started blogging last 2006 with www(dot)i(dot)ph and blogspot with only two entries in each blog. Then I have a multiply.com account too for more than three years now- it is where I saved some of my photographs. Last week I jumped to wordpress with only one entry, I feel very lazy, posting, publishing, previewing and so on.
Then now blogspot, back again! I love blogspot for one reason- I can blog my photos directly from Picasa. I found the NEW blogspot to be flexible, cool interface, I can control the way I want it better than the aforementioned blogging sites. I hope to keep my appetite updating this bloggy.
Now you know my own translation of blog hopping!
